Sewer & Septic Excavation
Most sewer and septic work requires some level of excavation. We use the right machine for the situation — bobcat/skid steer for tight spaces and shallow work, excavator for deeper trenches and larger installations. When excavation is part of a larger sewer or septic project, we coordinate it as part of the total scope. Restoration after excavation is included: backfill, compaction, and rough grading.
Residential and Commercial Projects
We serve both residential and commercial properties across Scott, Carver, Wright, Nicollet, Le Sueur, and surrounding Minnesota counties. Rural properties frequently have excavation needs related to aging septic infrastructure. Commercial sites require planning for access constraints and underground utilities. We follow all standard utility locating requirements before any digging begins.
Working in Minnesota Conditions
Minnesota's ground freezes to significant depth — typically 40 inches or more in central and southern Minnesota. Emergency situations still require winter excavation and we've handled those situations, but we're honest about what cold conditions mean for scope and cost. Spring soft ground requires careful equipment access planning to minimize surface damage.
