Septic Pumping & Riser Installation for Elevated Trench System in Gaylord, MN

 · Gaylord, Sibley County, MN  · Septic Pumping & Riser Installation

Problem

The homeowner's elevated trench septic system was due for routine maintenance, but the access manhole on the first 1,000-gallon septic tank was buried too deep below grade. Without proper access, the tank could not be safely or completely serviced. The system consists of two 1,000-gallon septic tanks followed by a 1,000-gallon pump tank feeding an elevated trench drainfield.

Solution

Our technicians carefully excavated the buried manhole on the first septic tank and installed a 14-inch riser to bring the access opening up to grade for easier future maintenance. After the riser installation, we pumped and cleaned both 1,000-gallon septic tanks along with the 1,000-gallon pump tank, inspected the system during service, and ensured everything was operating properly before backfilling and restoring the area.
