Commercial Grease Trap Pumping & Cleaning – Norwood Young America, MN 55368
· Norwood Young America, Carver County, MN · Commercial Grease Trap Pumping
Problem
This commercial property in Norwood Young America, MN has a 1,000-gallon grease trap that receives regularly scheduled cleaning to help maintain proper wastewater flow and prevent excessive grease and solids buildup. The grease trap is located beneath the parking lot and is accessed through steel manhole covers. When we arrived for the scheduled service, a customer's vehicle was parked directly over part of the grease trap access area, preventing us from opening all of the covers. Fortunately, one of the steel access covers remained accessible, allowing us to safely reach the grease trap and complete the scheduled maintenance without requiring the customer's vehicle to be moved.
Solution
Minnesota Sewer Pros completed the scheduled pumping and cleaning of the 1,000-gallon commercial grease trap in Norwood Young America, MN. Although a customer's vehicle was parked over part of the grease trap access area, we were able to safely open an accessible steel manhole cover and pump the trap through that opening. The accumulated wastewater, grease, and solids were removed to restore the trap's working capacity and help keep the commercial wastewater system flowing properly. Regularly scheduled grease trap cleaning helps reduce excessive buildup and lowers the risk of slow drainage, odors, backups, and unexpected service interruptions. After completing the pumping, the steel access cover was securely returned to its position in the parking lot.
