Problem

The mound septic system was not pumping properly due to a failed Goulds PE51 effluent pump. The pump had burned out and was no longer able to move effluent from the pump tank to the mound system. The pump float switch also needed replacement to restore reliable automatic operation.

Solution

Minnesota Sewer Pros removed the failed Goulds PE51 effluent pump and replaced it with a new pump. We also replaced the pump float switch responsible for activating the pump. The new pump and float were installed to restore proper dosing of effluent from the pump tank to the mound septic system.
